This web site could as well be called "Nuts about being a Granny" or "Wild about being here in Austin, Texas."
Our wonderful and courageous daughter-in-law invited us to consider moving to Austin to be grandparents
"in situ." This is not to be confused with "in loco parentis." Our granddaughter already has the best parents ever. We are, however, the "loco grand-parentis." So "The Girl" is almost twelve years old now. We are very happy to continue to participate in the lives of the family. There are no words to describe our huge sense of joy and good fortune every day we are here.
My sincere wish is that your day is better for visiting and that you will return. Your comments are most welcome.
