Wellness Again
Why not write as variously as we dress and think?

Laundry Day Thoughts - 02.05.2001
The laundry is finished! What a great feeling after spending the past week holed up in that stuffy, achy, feverish, miserable, demented, confining state of a sinus infection. The knowledge that the sheets and towels are freshly laundered... that flannels, fleeces and sweats are once again free of germs... lifts my spirits. The windows have been opened and the house aired out. The fresh air from invigorating Texas Hill Country came through the house and sunshine entered my soul again. That is the real healing of body and mind.
Having much Granny time to make up for, we spent as much time as possible with Morgan this past weekend. We were surprised at how much that grandbaby had changed in just a week, causing us to affirm once again that our decision to move here was right.
How could we miss any of this? At five and a half months she is happily full of life. After her nap here, we all went visiting neighbors. She loves being outdoors, taking in the whole world as we moved from house to house, delivering invitations to a Valentine cookie decorating party.
That's later in the week. I'm busy organizing some cookie baking and decorating items, unused for so long now. The invitations requested friends to wear their Valentine hats and to bring a love story. Prizes will be given. There will be cookies for all to take home. We will put our hearts into it!
I love and miss you all,
Carol
